Second Chance CPR also develops training programs for our customers to fill their Health and Safety training needs.
Second Chance CPR is more than just a company of First Aid Instructors.
Each member of our team brings a unique blend of experience, skill, and real-world expertise that sets our training apart. At Second Chance CPR, our instructors are the most important and integral part of bringing the material to life in the classroom, transforming standards-based instruction into practical, meaningful learning experiences that people can understand, retain, and apply in real emergencies.
Our instructor team is made up of professional first responders, educators, and healthcare practitioners who have demonstrated their ability to manage medical emergencies in both field and clinical environments. Through their combined experience and teaching expertise, they ensure every class is engaging, relevant, and grounded in real-world application.
Second Chance CPR is extremely proud of its instructor core and the dedication they bring to every session. Their ability to connect knowledge with action ensures that every participant leaves empowered, confident, and prepared to respond effectively when it matters most.
Second Chance CPR is proud to be a recognized First Aid training provider in Ontario under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). Our medical direction is led by Dr. Eddie Wasser, who plays an integral role in supporting our organization’s commitment to high-quality, evidence-based training and program development.
Dr. Wasser brings extensive expertise in pre-hospital and emergency medicine, helping guide the evolution of our courses as we transition through updated provincial and national standards, including WSIB Regulation 1101 and CSA Z1210:24. His leadership ensures our programs remain current, compliant, and aligned with best practices in emergency response and workplace safety.
As we continue to implement new certification frameworks and enhance our training delivery, Dr. Wasser’s involvement is a key part of maintaining clinical accuracy, instructional excellence, and strong medical oversight across all Second Chance CPR programs.
