CPR-BLS/Level C with AED

CPR BLS (Basic Life Support)

The BLS (Basic Life Support) CPR for Healthcare Providers course is designed for healthcare professionals and first responders who may be required to respond to a cardiac or respiratory emergency as part of their job responsibilities or school placement requirements.

Participants will develop and demonstrate essential lifesaving skills, including:

• 1- and 2-rescuer CPR for adults, children, and infants
• Recognition and management of choking emergencies
• Proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
• Use of a Bag-Valve-Mask (BVM) for providing rescue breaths
• Effective response to cardiac and respiratory emergencies

This course is appropriate for healthcare providers, first responders, and other professionals who require a recognized BLS credential for employment, workplace, or school placement requirement purposes.

CPR Level C

We also offer CPR Level C, which provides comprehensive CPR and AED training for adults, children, and infants. The “C” stands for “Comprehensive” and indicates that the course covers CPR skills for all three age groups.

CPR Level C is suitable for individuals who are required to maintain CPR certification for workplace, employment, education, childcare, community, or other organizational requirements, but who do not require healthcare-provider-level BLS training.

Participants learn and demonstrate skills including:

• Adult, child, and infant CPR
• 1- and 2-rescuer CPR
• AED use
• Choking response for adults, children, and infants
• Recognition of cardiac and respiratory emergencies
• Rescue breathing and appropriate response techniques

CPR Level C is a recognized CPR certification option for individuals whose workplace or organization requires CPR training covering all age groups. Employers, regulatory bodies, schools, and professional organizations may have specific certification requirements, so participants should confirm which level of CPR certification is required for their position before registering.

Which Course Do I Need?

BLS CPR: Recommended or required for healthcare providers, first responders, students and professionals whose employment or regulatory requirements call for Basic Life Support training.

CPR Level C: Designed for individuals who require CPR and AED certification for adults, children, and infants but do not require healthcare-provider-level BLS training.
