PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING This course is the 2 day (Standard) Intermediate First Aid (certifies for 3 years), CPR-BLS Provider (C) & Automated External Defibrillator (certifies for 1 year). Book this course if you require Standard First Aid for your job or school and you do not have a valid Standard First Aid certificate currently or your certificate is expired. If your Standard First Aid certificate is valid DO NOT BOOK THIS COURSE. If you need to recertify your CPR-BLS Provider (C) Automated External Defibrillator course then please book the course that says CPR-BLS C/AED in our course calendar.

With the introduction of the CSA Z1210:17 standard, course naming and classifications have been updated to Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced levels. All of our programs now reflect these CSA standards while maintaining full compliance with WSIB requirements, ensuring consistent, high-quality training for every workplace.

CPR/AED are both a 1-year certification, and Standard/Intermediate First Aid is a 3-year certification. This course teaches the participant how to approach and manage medical emergencies and provide care to the patient until EMS arrives. This course is required for workplaces employing six or more workers in any one shift in a work area or those interested in gaining enhanced first aid knowledge and skills as required by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board under which Second Chance CPR is an approved provider for First Aid programs (WSIB Reg. 1101).

Each day runs from 8:30-4:30 with an hour for lunch. Cost is $165.00 plus tax.
