Intermediate First Aid Renewal/CPR-BLS Provider (C)/AED

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING This course is for those who have taken their Standard First Aid and their 3 year certification is going to be expiring.  It can not already be expired in order to take this 1 day renewal of (Standard First Aid) Intermediate First Aid. This course renews the (Standard First Aid) Intermediate First Aid  portion of your certification for another 3 years and it also renews your CPR-BLS Provider (C) & Automated External Defibrillator for another 1 year.  If you do not need your Standard First Aid portion of your certificate certified DO NOT BOOK THIS COURSE instead book the course that says CPR-BLS Provider (C)/AED in our course calendar.  If your Standard First Aid is already expired please book the course that says Intermediate/CPR- BLS Provider (C)/AED (not renewal)

With the introduction of the CSA Z1210:17 standard, course naming and classifications have been updated to Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced levels. All of our programs now reflect these CSA standards while maintaining full compliance with WSIB requirements, ensuring consistent, high-quality training for every workplace.

CPR/AED are both a 1-year certification, and Standard/Intermediate First Aid is a 3-year certification. This course teaches the participant how to approach and manage medical emergencies and provide care to the patient until EMS arrives. This course is required for workplaces employing six or more workers in any one shift in a work area or those interested in gaining enhanced first aid knowledge and skills as required by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board under which Second Chance CPR is an approved provider for First Aid programs (WSIB Reg. 1101).

The day runs from 8:30-4:30 with an hour for lunch.  Cost is $115 plus tax
